• John C. Sells, of the 100 block of South State, was charged Tuesday with battery following a dispute at the Pace bus terminal in the 100 block of West Chicago Street, according to a police report. Sells pushed the victim off his bicycle, causing the victim to hit his head on a wall and cut his right arm. Sells said his actions were retaliation for an earlier dispute involving a box cutter and a stolen beer on Walton Island, but witnesses at the Pace terminal who subdued Sells after he shoved victim could not confirm this. Sells' bail was set at $6,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court June 27.
