About this Article

Eighteen months ago, vandals did $50,000 worth of damage to the Pro-Tech Roofing Company's office in Des Plaines. After repairing the smashed, spray-painted walls, the office was empty and white. So ProTech's Bille Marcum Jr. decided to add a little black and red. Today, the office is a shrine to the Blackhawks. "One picture led to a flag, which led to the bobbleheads. ... It just kind of branched off from there," Marcum said.
