Dundee Township Historical Society to host springtime house walk

The Dundee Township Historical Society will host its springtime house walk from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 22.

Local homes, historic sites and gardens will be included in the walk. The sites will include: Charles and Maria Unruh House, circa 1890s; Guy and Lucinda Hall House, 1903; Emily Schweitzer House, 1953; Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1887; The Old Grist Mill, 1845-46; and the 1927 Dundee Township Historical Museum, as well as the Prendergast/Zenger, McFeeley and McMillan gardens.

Advance tickets cost $15 and are available now at Family Pride Cleaners, 537 S. Eighth St. (Route 31), in West Dundee; at The Old Grist Mill, 39 E. Main St., in Carpentersville; and the Dundee Township Historical Society Museum, 426 Highland, West Dundee. Tickets will be available only at the museum the day of the event.

Refreshments will be served at one of the sites.
