Though Steve Belknap of Barrington owns an auto body shop, he decided against pounding out the dents in his vintage Ford pickup.

The 1947 truck still has its original wood shims under the cab.

Belknap often uses the truck to haul a custom-made 1943/47 Harley-Davidson Hummer made by his son and a paint specialist at his shop.

Belknap's truck took home the fan-favorite Most Coveted Vehicle Award from the 2012 Barrington Concours d'Elegance.

Old-fashioned, custom lettering to advertise Belknap's body shop was added to the doors.
