• Juan Estrada-Avila, 36, of the 0-99 block of Kendall Street, Aurora, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:21 a.m. Saturday after he was found sleeping and slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle in a parking lot at West Indian Trail Road and North Lake Street in Aurora, according to a sheriff report. A male passenger, who also was found sleeping in the vehicle and whose name was not disclosed, was released at the scene,
• Travis M. Heinz, 18, of the 300 block of Parkway Avenue, Bloomingdale, was arrested and charged with possession of between 10 and 30 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found at 5:55 a.m. Monday sleeping in the bathroom at the Pingree Grove Forest Preserve, 14N187 Route 20, near Hampshire, according to a sheriff report. Heinz, who had traveled there on foot, told authorities as was on a "journey," the report said. Authorities found marijuana, a bong and four knives in his backpack, the report said.
