Broadway star Idina Menzel will perform next month at Aurora's new RiverEdge Park, and a number of free lawn tickets will be available starting at noon on Friday.

Menzel, the Tony Award-winning Elphaba from "Wicked" as well as a recurring star on the Fox TV show "Glee," performs at 8 p.m. Friday, July 19.

Free lawn tickets are being given to community groups, and a limited number will be distributed first-come, first-served, starting at noon Friday, June 14, at the RiverEdge box office, 360 North Broadway, and at the Paramount box office, 23 East Galena Blvd., in Aurora. These tickets, with a limit of four per household, are available in person or by calling the box office at (630) 896-6666.

The free lawn seats were made available by The Dunham Fund, a private foundation and a sponsor of RiverEdge's pavilion.

Other tickets go on sale Friday as well at the box office and at RiverEdgeAurora.com. Reserved seats are $75. General admission bench seats are $60.
