About this Article

Libertyville High School officials hosted a special graduation ceremony in the gymnasium Thursday for 10 seniors on the baseball team. The team will play in the state baseball tournament about the same time classmates will be preparing for their graduation ceremony Friday night. "We wanted to honor the kids the way they deserved to be honored for their academic effort," Wildcats baseball coach Jim Schurr said.
