The 17th annual Italian Feast of SS. Crocifisso will be Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, on the Maryville grounds, 1150 N. River Road, Des Plaines. The feast begins with Vespers at Marian Chapel at 6 p.m. Saturday, followed by live music performed by Enzo Incandela. On Sunday, it begins with an Italian Mass at 12:30, followed by a procession accompanied by the Sicilian Band of Chicago, a traditional horse parade, and live music performed by SoCo7. There also will be a magic and animal show by Jaime Aponte, and a fireworks finale. Admission, which is off Central Road, is free.
