Elk Grove Vill. does Memorial Day right

Memorial Day saw my husband, a Korean War Veteran, and me at the annual event in Elk Grove Village to honor all those who served our country in our various wars and military involvements. This memorial service is sponsored by Elk Grove Village and VFW Post 9284 with participation from many forms of local government and other devoted local organizations.

If you weren’t in attendance, plan to come to Elk Grove Village on Memorial Day next year for a truly wonderful tribute to our veterans complete with an impressive folding of the American Flag by the Elk Grove Village police color guard and superb patriotic music from the Baptist Church choir and the Elk Grove Village Big Band. Remember our servicemen.
