In November 2012 the Zonta Club of Oak Brook held a wine-tasting event for the express purpose of raising funds to donate to local agencies focusing on women. Club members elected to make donations to 2 local organizations, "Poised for Success" situated in Lombard and

Family Shelter Service, located in Wheaton. FSS provides support to women and children who are victims of domestic violence and abuse by offering services such as advocacy, counseling and emergency housing. More information is available at www.familyshelterservice.org. A hotline is also available at: 630-469-5650.
