Lestina to be honored with concert:

Retiring Vernon Hills High School Fine Arts Supervisor and orchestra Director Frank Lestina will be honored Saturday at the school with an alumni concert and an open house. Lestina is ending a 33-year career. The concert begins at 2 p.m. in the auditorium, and a reception will follow. Ninety graduates from the orchestras Lestina directed throughout his years at Libertyville High and Vernon Hills High will perform, and Lestina will conduct. Admission is free.
