Woodland Elementary District 50's Parent Teacher Association has announced the winners of the PTA scholarships: Jessica Hamrick, Katie Nordentoft and Micaela Osuji. Hamrick is a graduate of Grayslake Central High School, and Nordentoft and Osuji are graduates of Warren Township High School. Each scholarship is valued at $1,200. "The Woodland PTA Scholarship Committee would like to thank everyone who applied," said PTA President Nancy Kehoe. "The applicants shared many diverse extracurricular activities and wrote some very engaging essays. We are pleased that we will be helping out with the continuation of their higher education goals."
