The Winfield Flower Shoppe Will Distribute Free Roses at Our Shop Friday May 24 & Saturday, May 25 th.

Winfield, IL, May 14, 2013:

Every Memorial Day, many in our community visit local cemeteries to pay respects to those who served in the United States Armed Forces.

This Memorial Day, weekend, the Winfield Flower Shoppe in Winfield, Il. will participate in the nationwide Memorial Day Flowers program and will distribute free roses to visitors. Each visitor will receive two roses, one to place on a headstone to honor someone who served and one to take for themselves as a remembrance.

The Winfield Flower Shoppe supports worth causes. This one is special and the flower shop is privileged to participate in honoring the people and families that have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Flowers are a form of emotional expressions and a single stem placed on a headstone is an appropriate show of respect. The roses will be distributed – free-of-charge – while supplies last.
