Free LATER program offered this summer at Brandenburg and Timbercrest Parks

Children can have camp fun in the evenings this summer!

Schaumburg Park District will offer the free LATER program, supported by the Schaumburg Park Foundation, this summer at Brandenburg Park, 600 N. Knollwood Drive, and Timbercrest Park, 120 W. Beech Drive. Camp counselors will lead youth ages 6 to 17 in group games, sports and crafts from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday from June 10 to July 26. The first week will start on a Tuesday.

“The Park Foundation is happy to support the youth of our community through such a worthwhile program,” says Bob Schmidt, chairman of the Park Foundation.

Every Friday evening LATER session will have a special theme. A parent or guardian must complete forms the first night a child attends the program. Additional camp information is available the first night at each site. This free program requires no registration.
