Oilschlager appointment:

Gov. Pat Quinn has reappointed College of Lake County Trustee Barbara D. Oilschlager, of Grayslake, to serve on the Illinois Workforce Investment Board. The appointment runs from April 15, 2013, through July 1, 2014. The Illinois Workforce Investment Board is charged with reviewing the progress of the state’s workforce planning efforts, facilitating ways government and the private sector can work together to meet the workforce needs of employers and workers. Members of the IWIB include leaders from state government, business, industry, labor, education and community-based organizations. Re-elected to the CLC board of trustees in April 2013, Oilschalger was first elected to the board in 1989. She has served several times as chairman and vice chairman and has provided leadership on various board committees.
