Soccer club seeks players for spring, fall season

Kaneland United Soccer Club

Kaneland United Soccer Club is offering tryout dates for the 2013-14 season. The travel soccer club features teams for boys and girls ages 8-18.

Tryouts for boys are scheduled during the week of May 20, and girls tryouts are scheduled for the week of May 28. All tryouts will take place at Kaneland High School, 47W326 Keslinger Road, Kaneville. The club's website, www.kanelandunitedsoccerclub.com, lists times for specific age group tryouts. Preregistration is strongly encouraged so the required documents and medical release forms can be completed before time.

Players will have the opportunity to play a competitive fall and spring schedule, receive training from some of the area's experienced college and professional players, and focus on individual player development. In the past few seasons, the club has grown almost 40 percent since 2010. This growth has allowed club fees to stay affordable for families.
