COD Hosts Part-Time/Adjunct Faculty Open House May 18

College of DuPage is looking for qualified adjunct and part-time instructors to teach students in the career and technical fields, general education courses and continuing education.

The College will host an open house for prospective part-time and adjunct faculty from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 18, in the Student Services Center Atrium on the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn. View more information on this free session.

During this session, attendees will learn about teaching opportunities available at College of DuPage and department leaders will be available to provide information and answer questions. Attendees should bring their curriculum vitae or resume, as well as copies of unofficial college transcripts, and professional certificates and licenses to the open house.

College of DuPage offers competitive compensation and flexible work schedules with day, evening and weekend classes that run in a variety of session lengths throughout the year. In addition to the main campus in Glen Ellyn, courses are offered at five regional centers in Addison, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Naperville and Westmont. The College also provides a special orientation program, support and ongoing professional development for part-time/adjunct faculty.

Among the state's public colleges and universities, College of DuPage, with more than 26,000 students, is the second largest provider of undergraduate education in the State of Illinois, after University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
