Sponsored by the Elgin Area Organization of Motorcycle Riders, in partnership with Woodstock Harley-Davidson, this annual event benefits Little Angels, a nationally recognized residential facility in Elgin for children and young adults with severe disabilities and complex medical needs.

The Pledge Run is Little Angels' largest yearly fundraiser, and 100 percent of the money pledged benefits the residents of Little Angels.

Jump on your bike and roar through 80 miles of rolling countryside in Northern Illinois. After the ride, come back to Woodstock Harley-Davidson and join them for the party. There will be grilled burgers and brats, beer, soda, games and live music. Enter the raffle for a chance to win a 2013 Ultra Classic Electra Glide or $10,000 in cash. Second prize is a Harley-Davidson Rec Room Package, and third prize is $1,000 cash.

All makes and models of bikes are welcome. Whether you ride, just come for the party or want to support a bike-riding "Angel" with a pledge, your support does make a difference. With their Medicaid rates frozen by the state for the last 16 years, Little Angels needs this Pledge Run.

Visit the new Little Angels Pledge Run website at www.LApledgerun.com to register for the ride or donate.

The Pledge Run will start and end at Woodstock Harley-Davidson, 2050 S. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock. Sign-in and walk-in registration will be from 10 a.m. to noon and the grounds will be closed from noon to 1 p.m. The post-ride party will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
