The Schaumburg Park District Board of Commissioners announced its 2013-2014 officers, and swore in two members for new terms at its regular board meeting on May 9.
Mike Daniels will serve as President, George Longmeyer as First Vice President, David Johnson as Second Vice President, Sharon DiMaria as Secretary and Bob Schmidt as Treasurer.
Incumbents Longmeyer and Johnson were sworn in. In the April local elections, they ran unopposed for new four-year terms.
The Park Board is the legal governing authority through which the Park District conducts business. Park Commissioners are elected at large. The Schaumburg Park District Park Board meets at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of every month at the Jerry Handlon Administration Building, 235 E. Beech Drive, Schaumburg.
