Heather Eck was the winning pitcher, allowing just 4 hits. Payton Spirling had a double for Jacobs (12-11, 4-6). Emily Borg was the losing pitcher.
Burlington Central 12, Rockford Christian 0: Courtni Neubauer threw a 5-inning perfect game as the Rockets made it 18 straight wins with this Big Northern East shutout, BC's fourth straight shutout, a span in which they have won by a total of 79-0. Neubauer struck out 9. Lauren King and Kayla Ross each had triples and RBI for Central (21-1, 12-0) and Mackenzie Paschke had a double.
Elgin-Larkin reschedule: Thursday night's game between Elgin and Larkin at Judson University was rained out. The Maroons and Royals will play Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. at Elgin High School.
