The Blackhawks were expecting to get Minnesota's best effort Thursday night, but it never materialized. The Hawks won 5-1 in Game 5 to capture the best-of-seven series 4-1 and advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since winning the Stanley Cup in 2010.
