Republican former congressman Bob Dold of Kenilworth, who narrowly lost last November to Deerfield Democrat Brad Schneider, told supporters that he will be making a bid for his former 10th District congressional seat in 2014. Dold, in a letter released early this afternoon, cited “frustration with the current lack of compromise and the consistent stalemate in Washington” as his reason for announcing his campaign.
