Kane County
• Someone stole a four-seat, 15-foot canoe, trolling motor, battery and life vest from a shed on the 19N800 block of Winaki Trail near Algonquin, according to a sheriff's report. The theft was discovered at 3:58 p.m. April 22.
Huntley
• A loaded semitrailer was reported stolen Saturday from the 11100 block of Dundee Road, police said. No other information was available.
• An oven was reported stolen May 1 from a vacant home on the 13400 block of Michigan Avenue, police said.
• Alexandria T. Silva, 19, of the 3500 block of Blue Ridge Court, Carpentersville, was charged May 1 with retail theft, accused of stealing less than $150 in merchandise from Walmart on the 12300 block of Route 47, according to a police report. Silva posted $150 bond and is due in court June 14 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
