Local Experts to Address Free Lisle Workshop on Eldercare Issues

Seniors and their families will be able to navigate through the challenges they face and learn about ways to “Avoid the Pitfalls of the Elder Care Journey.” The workshop takes place May 21, 2013 from 6-8:00pm at The Devonshire & Westbury Care Center, 1700 Robin Lane in Lisle, Illinois.

Among the experts speaking is Richard Ueberfluss, a physical therapist and president of Assisting Hands® Home Care, with offices in Hinsdale and Naperville. He will be addressing issues relating to in-home care, home safety and making arrangements for home care aides.

Other speakers for the session are Shelane Siebert Barrett, Senior Living Advisor for A Place for Mom, who will discuss Changing living arrangements and Rick Law, Attorney and Founder of Law Elder Law and Estate Planning center, who will discuss legal issues, Medicaid rules and managing documents.
