Des Plaines police resource officer receives Lighthouse Award
Des Plaines Police School Resource Officer Robert Fitzpatrick received a Lighthouse Award for outstanding contributions to School District 62 during the April 15 District #62 Board of Education Meeting, Forest Elementary School, 1375 Fifth Avenue.
Officer Fitzpatrick was nominated and received the award in the category of Educational Support Personnel. Fitzpatrick was nominated by school staff members Denise Fernandez, Dr. Leah Kimmelman, Lori Poelking, John Swanson and Colleen White.
The Lighthouse Award Program honors personnel for outstanding contributions to the District. The award ceremony was coordinated by Mindy Ward, Director of Community Relations for School District #62.
