Trukov sets Warren varsity wins record

Warren 5, Libertyville 2: Warren swept three matches in singles play, led by a 6-1, 7-6 (5) victory by No. 1 singles player Kristiyan Trukov over Ben Van Dixhorn. Trukov set the Warren school record for most varsity wins (128). He eclipsed his brother Nikola (126). Matt Matheny and Scott Seiler also got singles wins for Warren.

Carmel 6, Benet 2: The Corsairs were led by No. 1 singles player Kevin Hunt and No. 2 singles player Brandon Dechter, both of whom got straight-set wins. Hunt defeated Riley Marshall, 6-0, 6-0 while Dechter defeated Alex Romano, 6-1, 6-3.

Lakes 4, Wauconda 3: Lakes swept all four doubles matches, led by the No. 1 doubles team of Jason Adlam and Ben Wayne. They defeated Nick Kamaikis and Kyle Caudle, 6-0, 6-0. Wauconda was led by No. 1 singles player Tommy Tyler, who got a 6-0, 6-0 win over Matt Gebhardt.

Stevenson 7, Mundelein 0: No. 1 singles player Michael Sims led Stevenson with a straight set victory while the Patriots also got a straight set victory out of its No. 1 doubles team of Pawel Jaworski and Josh Lieberman.
