Northbrook Community Synagogue's Women's Havura culminating dinner will take place on Tuesday, May 28 at 7 p.m. Registration starts at 6:45 p.m. The synagogue is located at 2549 Jasper Ct., Northbrook, IL 60062.
Following a dinner from the Sandwich Club, Barbara Silverman, dubbed a "stunning vocalist" by the Old Time Herald, will present a program.
Her lilting voice and musical performance on guitar, piano, and washboard has captivated audiences at concerts, festivals and workshops nationwide.
The cost to attend is $15 for 2012-13 members, free with a new membership of $36.00 (membership good for 2013-14) and $20.00 for guests.
