Bike safety rodeo on Saturday in Libertyville

A bike safety rodeo is set for noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Advocate Condell conference center, 700 Garfield Ave., Libertyville. Kids can learn about bicycle safety, proper helmet fitting, importance of wearing a helmet, traffic safety and fire trucks and safety gear. Participants will be able to test their skills on the obstacle course and will receive a bike safety inspection, helmet fitting check and a goody bag. Kids must wear a helmet to participate and must be accompanied by an adult. The event is sponsored by Advocate Condell Medical Center and the village of Libertyville.
