Patty Turner Center to Host Old Car Show

The Patty Turner Center Men's Club hosts an “Old Car Show,” beginning at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28th. Antique and classic automobiles will be on display as part of the Center's regular Tuesday morning Men's Club programming. A Model T Ford, Model A Ford, several early sports cars, and classics from the 1950s are expected to be on display. Each car owner will make a short presentation on the history and unique attributes of his or her vehicle.

Coffee and pastries are served beginning at 8:15 a.m. and the formal program will begin at 8:45 a.m. The program will conclude before 10:00 a.m., to enable participants to walk among the cars and speak with the owners. The cost is $1.50 per person to participate.

The Patty Turner Center, a facility of the Deerfield Park District, in cooperation with the Village of Deerfield, is located at 375 Elm Street in Deerfield. The telephone for more information is 847-940-4010
