WGU Indiana to provide $100,000 in scholarships

INDIANAPOLIS — WGU Indiana says it’s accepting applications for $100,000 in new scholarships in the largest such offering in the university’s history.

WGU Indiana said Wednesday it will award 50 new scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each, or $500 per term for four terms.

To be eligible, applicants must have some college credit, apply as new students to WGU Indiana, and pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is July 1.

WGU Indiana is the state’s nonprofit, online university. The maximum annual tuition is $6,000.
