Asphalt trimming for Route 21/137:

Weather permitting, construction crews beginning at 7 a.m. Friday will trim asphalt as part of the Route 21/137 project in Libertyville. Trimming on Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) will begin just south of Brookhill Road and proceed to the south limits of project, south of Finstad Drive. Driveways and side streets may be closed for five to 10 minutes as trimming continues. Flaggers will be posted during these short-term closures to direct traffic. Placement of asphalt on Route 21 south of Route 137 will resume Monday and also require short-term closures of five to 10 minutes when the paver passes.
