Gun rights are not unlimited

Any senator and any United States citizen who opposes background checks and other responsible gun restrictions will have blood on his hands when the next mass shooting occurs. Those who oppose these laws do not understand that they have been manipulated and lied to by the NRA and the gun lobby, which play on their worst fears. Your right to own any kind of gun you want to own without any restrictions does not trump the rights of others to be safe from the unrestricted proliferation of guns.
