Letter carriers food drive May 11

The 21st Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive will be held in Des Plaines on Saturday, May 11.
Residents are urged to donate nonperishable food items to be picked up by their letter carrier and by community volunteers on that day. Food collected during the event will benefit Des Plaines residents in need who are clients of the Self-Help Closet & Pantry of Des Plaines, 600 E. Algonquin Road.

Food collections will be made throughout the country. The event is the largest nationwide one-day food drive.
