North Suburban Symphony concert in Lake Forest

The North Suburban Symphony hosts its final concert of the 2012-13 concert season, “Italian Passion”, on Sunday, May 5 at 4 p.m. at Gorton Community Center, 400 East Illinois Road, Lake Forest. The symphony is a community orchestra based in Lake Forest and sponsored by the Lake Bluff Park District, under the direction of Ron Arden. Included on the program will be: Vivaldi’s “Concerto for Four Violins” featuring Concerto Competition winner Aidan Perreault; “Ancient Airs and Dances Suite 1” by Respighi; and Operatic Ensembles by Verdi, Rossini, and Mozart sung by a quartet of vocal soloists. Tickets are $18 for adults $18; $10 for seniors/students; Children under 12, free with adult ticket purchase. Tickets available at the door. Call for information: (847) 234-4150.
