All should be allowed self-protection

Everyone should listen to the Joe Walsh radio program on WIND. Joe provides the news that the drive-by media refuse to cover due to fear or political correctness.
Recently a shop owner from Ecuador protected himself with a baseball bat against two thugs with guns. The thugs fired numerous shots hitting the shop owner, but the man protected himself not with his own gun but with a bat.

This is wrong. Every man has the right to protect himself, his family and his business. These thugs knew that Illinois has the toughest gun laws in the country, yet we have the highest crime rates. Change the law, make it humane, allow citizens to protect themselves.
