Glenbard West loses in bottom of seventh

Isabella Jaeger's walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh lifted York past Glenbard West 12-11 in a wild one Monday in Elmhurst.

Glenbard West (7-9, 2-2 West Suburban Silver) trailed 11-3, but tied it with 8 runs in the top of the seventh. Jacklyn Tyburk was 2-for-3 with a homer and 3 RBI and Shelley Warmolts scored 3 runs for the Hilltoppers. Jaeger drove in 3 runs, Audrey Kosman homered with 2 RBI, Sarah Milkowski was 4-for-4 with 2 RBI and Angela Scalzitti 3-for-5 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI for the Dukes (10-9, 4-1).

Glenbard North 4, Naperville North 0:

Lindsey Cherry (9-2) tossed a one-hitter, striking out eight for her third straight shutout, and No. 4 Glenbard North blanked Naperville North in Naperville.

Ashley Stiver was 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and 3 runs batted in, Stephanie Campos 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored and Amanda Manton 2-for-3 with a double for the Panthers (12-2, 5-1 DuPage Valley Conference). Lexi Ricketts' double was the lone hit for the Huskies (9-6, 4-2).

Naperville Central 2, West Chicago 1:

Keegan Hayes (13-0) struck out eight, allowing just 4 hits and a walk, as No. 1 Naperville Central (19-0, 5-0 DVC) remained unbeaten with a road win. Lindsay Gonzalez doubled and scored the Redhawks' first run on a Maddi Doane single. In the fifth inning, Megan Nerger reached on an error and scored on a Gonzalez single.

Bartlett 3, Neuqua Valley 2:

Jamie O'Brien (1-4) struck out four, allowing 4 hits, for Neuqua Valley (10-8, 6-3 Upstate Eight Conference) in a loss in Naperville.

South Elgin 6, Waubonsie Valley 5:

Mallory Mecklenburg's RBI single up the middle capped a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh, lifting the Storm past Waubonsie (14-4, 8-2 Upstate Eight) in South Elgin.

Montini 7, IC Catholic Prep 0:

Isabell Alexander continued her red-hot hitting by going 2-for-2 with 2 walks, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI, and Lauren Trojnar (10-2) struck out eight over six innings for the Broncos (17-3, 10-0 Suburban Christian Conference Blue) in Elmhurst. Trojnar also went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Cristina Barrett had 2 RBI.

Seneca 8, Lisle 7:

Summer Sitt, Isabella Daly and Abby Tarasewicz each had 3 hits for the Lions (10-6, 6-5 Interstate Eight Conference), who scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 12th after Seneca scored 3 in the top half.

Glenbard South 10, Elmwood Park 0:

Winning pitcher Jane Trzaska (7-1) homered, doubled and drove in 2 runs for the No. 8 Raiders (14-2, 7-0 Metro Suburban Conference), who scored 5 runs in the first inning and 5 more in the second.
