Warren powers past Grant

Warren d. Grant: Bryant Holland had a team-high 9 kills, 2 aces and 9 digs to lead Warren to a 25-8, 25-14 victory over Grant. Setter Arvind Kouta had 20 assists and Matt Massong added 4 kills and 2 blocks for the Blue Devils. For Grant, Ron Torres had 2 kills and 7 digs.

Stevenson d. Lakes: Brett Lerner rolled up a team-high 7 kills and Brian Dubinsky had a team-high 9 digs as Stevenson swept Lakes 25-16, 25-20. Setter Jonah May had 18 assists for the Patriots, who improve to 21-2 on the season.


Lake Forest d. Libertyville: Lake Forest outlasted Libertyville, 26-24, 14-25, 11-25. Chris Akers had 8 kills and Alex Mills had 5 kills for the Wildcats, who also got 14 assists from Dan Tropple.

Vernon Hills d. North Chicago: Tristan Klintworth was a perfect 14-of-14 on his serves and had 3 aces to lead Vernon Hills to a 25-9, 25-9 sweep. He also had a kill and a block kill. Meanwhile, Danny Rosenstock had 8 kills and TJ Flis added 5 kills to lead the attack. Setter Jake Baruch rolled up 21 assists while Dylan DeBoer finished with a team-high 8 digs. Vernon Hills moves to 16-3 overall and 6-0 in the North Suburban Conference.
