Conant claims tournament title
Mid-Suburban West boys water polo champion Conant added to its special season by winning its own invitational on Saturday.
The Cougars topped St. Viator 5-0, Buffalo Grove 11-3, Northside Prep 11-6 and Neuqua Valley 12-2 for a perfect 4-0 run through the competition at the 10th annual Cougar Invite.
Conant (23-3) hosts Hersey (13-14) in the Mid-Suburban League championship game at 6 p.m. Thursday.
