Senators showed no backbone on guns

I am outraged and sickened that our Senate has been bought and paid for by big money/gun special interests. There was absolutely no reason not to pass the background checks into law as 90 percent of Americans supported it. But these cowardly senators care more about retaining their high-paying, full-benefits jobs and keeping the favor of the powerful gun lobby than they do about children massacred in senseless attacks.

Until we fix our broken Congress and Senate we will never be a great nation again. We will never do big things when we cannot even do the right thing on an issue like background checks. I implore everyone who is in the 90 percent who supported background checks to see if your senator voted against this and, if so, vote them out next election.
