Street Fair Food Vendors Offer Free Samples at Saturday's Block Party

Hungry? Sample delicious food from the area's most popular eateries at the Extreme Block Party Family EXPO & Taste, Saturday, 10-3 pm, indoors at the Libertyville Sports Complex. This multi-chamber EXPO is free. Everyone is invited check out the fun!

Visitors will enjoy a yummy selection of food, along with local vendors, activities, entertainment, raffles, giveaways and more -- all for free. Participating eateries providing samples of their specialties include:

* Chili U, delicious chili you won't want to miss!

* Culver's, returns to the Block Party with it's famous custard

* Corner Bakery, sample homestyle sweets and treats for all

* Fine's, new to Libertyville, will offer it's famous hot dogs

* Silk Asian Tavern, will be serving samples of their Tuna Crudo, which will be featured on their new menu! They will also be raffling off Dinner For 2.

* Silverberg's Deli, new to Vernon Hills, with homemade deli items with a twist

* Sweets 4 U Bakery , old-fashioned baked goods

* WaPaGhetti's, authentic Italian great Pizza
