National Mom's Nite Out to be Celebrated at Woodfield Mall on May 9

It's high time for moms to be pampered and on May 9th, Woodfield Mall, one of the largest shopping destinations in the United States, is the place to be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. as Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG), the world's leading retail real estate company, provides a free evening of relaxation and fun at one hundred and twenty nine Simon® properties in honor of national Mom's Nite Out™. This year's presenting sponsor is Rethink Varicose Veins.

Woodfield Mall's first-ever Mom's Nite Out celebration will offer moms of all ages the opportunity to participate in an exciting evening filled with pampering, networking, entertainment and fashion, all focused on rewarding moms. Attendees will enjoy mini massages, style presentations, food tastings, product sampling, music, shopping incentives and more.

“Moms are so incredibly deserving of a night off,” said Heather Lloyd, director of mall marketing and business development at Woodfield Mall, “and it is our privilege to be the venue in the Chicago-area where they can come to enjoy it.” Lloyd added that as an extra bonus, one lucky mom and her friend will be treated to a night on the town in Chicago to see Bon Jovi's “Because We Can” tour at historic Soldier Field on Friday, July 12th. Bon Jovi's new release, “What About Now” is in stores now.

Rethink Varicose Veins is an educational campaign encouraging the more than 30 million1,2 Americans who suffer from venous disease, including varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), to rethink their condition and recognize it as a serious health concern.

The campaign, led by a coalition of medical societies and sponsored by Covidien, encourages those with venous disease to learn more about their condition, find a vein specialist, and make informed decisions about the best, and often minimally-invasive treatment option for them. As part of the campaign, Olympic Gold Medalist Summer Sanders shares her personal story about the impact venous disease had on her life and the improvements she experienced following treatment.

The Rethink Varicose Veins team will be at Mom's Nite Out dispelling the myths about varicose veins and encouraging attendees to take a quick self-assessment to determine their risk for varicose veins and CVI. Taking the self-assessment will automatically enter attendees for an opportunity to win a spa getaway weekend at the Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa, Nov. 14-17, 2013. Or visit www.RethinkVV.com/escape for a chance to win.

Originally organized by Maria Bailey, CEO of BSM Media, author and Mom Talk Radio host, National Mom's Nite Out unites social media groups, companies, local playgroups, mom bloggers and networks in giving moms a well-deserved night off. Bailey brought the first National Mom's Nite Out to life after watching moms take care of everyone else on Mother's Day, but never themselves.

“National Mom's Nite Out is one of the largest cooperative efforts of Mommy groups, Mom-focused organizations and corporations, bloggers and vloggers – all coming together for one great night in support of motherhood,” Bailey said.

About National Mom's Nite Out

National Mom's Nite Out™ is timed just before the official Mother's Day holiday for a reason. Maria Bailey organized the first National Mom's Nite Out as, for years, she watched moms take care of everyone else on Mother's Day but never themselves. These events give moms the excuse to take the night off and to celebrate motherhood, without the kids.
