Pitching matchups: The Cubs' Edwin Jackson (0-3) vs. Kevin Slowey (0-2) Thursday at 6:10 p.m.; Scott Feldman (0-3) vs. Wade LeBlanc (0-3) Friday at 6:10 p.m.; Travis Wood (1-1) vs. Alex Sanabia (2-2) Saturday at 6:10 p.m.; Carlos Villaneuva (1-0) vs. Ricky Nolasco (1-2) Sunday at 12:10 p.m.

At a glance: The Cubs were 2-4 against the Marlins last year, 0-3 in Miami. Never mind some of the pitching records here. The Marlins' Slowey has a 1.90 ERA.
