St. Edward 1, Marian Central 0: Chelsea Gnan scored off a throw-in from Casey Gredzieleski in the second half to lift the Green Wave to their first win at Marian Central in 11 years. St. Edward (8-2-1, 4-0 Suburban Christian), which got 4 saves from Paige Dykstra in her seventh shutout of the season, will play at defending Class 2A state champion St. Francis today.

Huntley 2, CL South 0: Deanna Hecht scored off an assist from Taryn Jakubowski in the first half and Rachel Zobott added an insurance goal with an assist from Katie Costantino in the second half as the Red Raiders (10-2-1, 1-0) won the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division opener. Jessica Galason had 4 saves in goal for Huntley.
