Prairie Ridge 4, Huntley 1: Angela Tribuzio's sixth-inning home run was Huntley's only hit of the day off Prairie Ridge senior lefty Kirsten Stevens in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division game. Haley Spannraft took the loss for the Red Raiders (9-5, 1-3), allowing 6 hits. Stevens struck out 14 and didn't walk a batter for the Wolves.

Cary-Grove 5, Woodstock North 1: In her first start replacing the injured Lindsay Efflandt, Trojans' junior Lauren Stanley allowed just 4 hits and had 4 strikeouts and 1 walk as Cary-Grove stayed undefeated with this FVC crossover win. Sarah Leudo was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Trojans (12-0), while Sarah Kendeigh (2 RBI), Caitlyn Adams (2B, RBI), Grace Pilz (RBI) and Lisa Semro (2B) also contributed.

Grayslake Central 13, Hampshire 3: Becca Hurst was 2-for-3 and hit her fourth home run of the season for Hampshire in this FVC Fox setback. Jen Hurst took the loss for the Whip-Purs (3-10, 0-3).

Geneva 7, Streamwood 3: Natalie Filippo was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Brittany Delao went 2-for-4 with a double for Streamwood in the Upstate Eight River. Kaitlyn Hedger took the loss for the Sabres (1-9, 1-5).

CL Central 1, CL South 0: Hailee Massie allowed just 4 hits and was 2-for-3 with a double at the plate but the Gators (7-3 couldn't plate a run in this FVC crossover.
