The complaint says investigators learned Thao had connections in Milwaukee. Officers went to a house in Milwaukee the following day and found Thao's car. Authorities say when they knocked on the door Thao fled and was later arrested. Detectives searched the house and found body parts, a knife and a tarp.

The Wausau Daily Herald (http://wdhne.ws/12EGESI ) says officials haven't commented on a possible motive in the slaying. A preliminary hearing is scheduled May 1.
