Libertyville perfect: At the Libertyville Quad, host Libertyville picked up a pair of wins, 2-0 over Huntley and 5-2 over Grayslake North.
Against Huntley, pitcher Haley Alban earned the win. She went the distance and rolled up 7 strikeouts. Offensively, the Wildcats got 2 hits apiece out of both Margaret Haws and Madi Dembinski. Jamie Stevens added a double.
Against Grayslake North, Dembinski had a double while pitcher Michelina Caffero got the win. She went the distance and struck out 2 batters while issuing only 2 walks.
Huntley 7, Vernon Hills 0: In the Libertyville Quad, Huntley rolled up 11 hits in the victory. Vernon Hills, which had 2 errors, dropped to 1-5.
