Road closures in West Chicago

West Chicago officials said two roads remained closed on Thursday afternoon while another third still had standing water.

According to information provided by the West Chicago Police Department, the roads that remained closed are:

Ÿ Roosevelt Road, from Joliet Street to Wegner because of flooding at the Candadian National Railroad viaduct.

Ÿ Downs Drive, from Kress Road to Industrial Drive

Meanwhile, officials said Arbor Avenue at Hawthorne Lane was passable even though it still had standing water. Two roads that were reopened are Town Road and Ingalton Avenue.
