Public input sought on Barrington rail crossing

The village of Barrington, in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation, will hold a meeting to solicit public input on a proposed grade separation on Route 14 at the CN/EJ&E Railway from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. in Barrington.

If attending the meeting, please use the Main Street entrance and enter the building through Entrance 45.

The village has received a Federal TIGER II Planning Grant to investigate alternatives for implementing a grade separation at the existing at-grade crossing.
