Wheaton police looking for pair who approached boy

Wheaton police are trying to locate two people who offered candy to a young male on Tuesday afternoon.

The man and the woman, who appeared to be teenagers, were in a dark or light-colored older Oldsmobile when they approached the youngster about 3:30 p.m. in the area of Danada Drive and Naperville Road, police said.

License plate information for the car isn't available.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about Tuesday's incident to call Investigative Commander James Volpe at (630) 260-2055.
