Activity filled day in Antioch:

Saturday, April 27, will be busy in Antioch with several planned activities. From 9 a.m. until noon, the village’s Arbor Day celebration returns with the focus on revitalizing the entry beds and tree rings and removing trash at Centennial Park, 601 Anita Ave. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., village’s environmental commission hosts an EcoFair at Antioch Elementary School, 817 Main St. Also, the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County hosts a household chemical waste collection from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the public works department, 796 Holbek Drive/Depot Road.
